COVID-19 update from The Smile Center

To Our Patients,

We understand and deeply respect that you may be concerned about Coronavirus in public places… even at our state-of-the-art sterilized office.

At The Smile Center, I want to assure you that our office has even further heightened our already rigid sterilization safeguards and office cleaning standards to minimize the possibility of transmission to our outstanding team…or to you, our valued patient. We have always far exceeded all standards for sterilization and patient care.

Our first priority is always the health and well-being of our patients. And that is a priority we take extremely seriously, even with the current disruptions we’re all experiencing.

Your dental health remains important to us as it plays such an important role in your overall health.

When you visit our office, you’ll see we’ve taken all the necessary steps to ensure you have the best patient experience possible. If you are experiencing any symptoms, please do not come to our office and call us to reschedule your appointment. We care for you and all our patients. If we see any symptoms in our patients or our team, we will reschedule the appointment on the spot and send that individual home.

It is just one more way that we can show our high level of care for you…and for everyone in our community. We very much look forward to seeing you, your family, and your friends very soon.

Sincerely,

Dr. John Miller
The Smile Center

We’ll Provide Expertise For Your Dental Emergency

With over 30 years in practice, Dr. John Miller has plenty of experience in dealing with dental emergencies! With our full range of dental services, from general dentistry to oral surgery, we’ll rarely need to send you to an outside specialist.

Here is how we handle some common dental emergencies:

  • Broken tooth – We can often repair a broken tooth with a dental crown. If there is not enough tooth left to save, we can gently extract it. Our tooth replacement options include dental bridges and dental implants.
  • Toothache – If your toothache is due to dental decay, we’ll remove the decay and place a tooth-colored filling to protect your tooth from further damage. If the decay has gotten into the center of your tooth, we’ll clean it all out with a root canal treatment.

Relieve Your Dental Anxiety

Even if you normally feel calm and collected at the dentist, an emergency can really bring out your dental anxiety. Fortunately, our experienced team knows how to relax you with amenities including:

  • Cozy blankets to take away the chill
  • Pillows for head and neck comfort
  • TVs and headphones to help you relax

If you’re still feeling nervous, we also offer dental sedation.

Call us now for any Georgetown dental emergencies: 843-492-5026. We’ll give you expert care fast!
