COVID-19 update from The Smile Center

To Our Patients,

We understand and deeply respect that you may be concerned about Coronavirus in public places… even at our state-of-the-art sterilized office.

At The Smile Center, I want to assure you that our office has even further heightened our already rigid sterilization safeguards and office cleaning standards to minimize the possibility of transmission to our outstanding team…or to you, our valued patient. We have always far exceeded all standards for sterilization and patient care.

Our first priority is always the health and well-being of our patients. And that is a priority we take extremely seriously, even with the current disruptions we’re all experiencing.

Your dental health remains important to us as it plays such an important role in your overall health.

When you visit our office, you’ll see we’ve taken all the necessary steps to ensure you have the best patient experience possible. If you are experiencing any symptoms, please do not come to our office and call us to reschedule your appointment. We care for you and all our patients. If we see any symptoms in our patients or our team, we will reschedule the appointment on the spot and send that individual home.

It is just one more way that we can show our high level of care for you…and for everyone in our community. We very much look forward to seeing you, your family, and your friends very soon.

Sincerely,

Dr. John Miller
The Smile Center

Be Proactive to Fix Your Breath

Everyone has had bad breath after eating certain foods. That’s an issue that goes away on its own. Chronic halitosis, however, happens as a result of harmful bacteria growing in your mouth. Knowing this, your treatment may involve one or more of the following:

  • Gum Disease Treatment – Constant bad breath is a common symptom of periodontal problems. By taking care of your gum infection, you may get to the root cause of your halitosis as well.
  • Dental Cleanings and Exams – Sometimes a routine dental cleaning and exam can identify tooth decay. For some patients, more frequent cleanings can be the perfect solution to avoid bad breath.
  • Dry Mouth Treatment – Dry mouth can raise your risk of the issues mentioned above, including bad breath. With our all-natural Tooth & Gums Tonic, you can make it harder for harmful bacteria to survive in your mouth.

We’ll Help Find Your Cause of Bad Breath

Anyone can develop halitosis. The key to treating it is finding the cause or causes in your particular case. In addition to cavities and gum infections, you could be a tobacco user or have other medical concerns.

Scheduling a visit to The Smile Center could be the key to your bad breath treatment in Murrells Inlet, SC. Call 843-491-5353 to get help.
