Welcome to The Smile Center Blog

This is the blog for The Smile Center, a dental practice that has served coastal South Carolina for nearly 30 years. We enjoy educating our patients at our two convenient locations, Georgetown, SC and Murrells Inlet, SC. And we look forward to the opportunity to further educate you here.

To that end, we’ll use this blog to share articles about dental health and other relevant topics. Check here regularly for information that will keep you informed about dental trends and provide you with information that will help you maintain your family’s oral health.

We’ll start off, though, by recapping some of the reasons that our patients appreciate The Smile Center.

3 Facts about The Smile Center

We offer dental sedation. We understand that some folks experience dental anxiety. While we can calm your nerves with our relaxing atmosphere and amenities like pillows, blankets, and headphones, we can also provide dental sedation if you need it. We use nitrous oxide (“laughing gas”) and oral sedation.

We use top dental technology. The Smile Center has invested in the latest dental technology to better serve you, including digital X-rays, a tool that simplifies giving local anesthesia, and a machine that helps ensure we get the best placement possible for dental implants.

We are committed to the local community. Dr. Miller and Dr. Cerasaro are both hometown dentists. While they travel all over for continuing education to keep their dental skills sharp and up to date, they love the area so much that they chose to practice in Murrells Inlet, SC and Georgetown, SC.
